When Love Calls. (The Gregory Sisters #1) Lorna Seilstad. 2013. Revell. 338 pages. [Source: Bought]
I really enjoyed reading When Love Calls by Lorna Seilstad. Hannah Gregory is the heroine. Since the death of both parents, Hannah is raising her two younger sisters: Charlotte and Tessa. She wants each sister to be able to hold onto her dream. But she also is practical. Being a lawyer may be her own dream, but, right now she needs to be working, not trying to attend school and studying. So she applies for a job as a hello girl, a telephone operator. Does she love it? Yes and no. She likes being able to bring home money; she likes being able to support her sisters. But she also finds it trying. There are so many rules, and her supervisor is so strict.
When Love Calls has a great hero. Hannah's first impression of Lincoln Cole is something. He is the messenger of bad news. The sisters will lose their home. But Lincoln Cole's impression of Hannah is quite different. He can't forget Hannah and her two sisters. So to everyone's surprise, he shows up to help them move. And he keeps turning up to lend a hand again and again and again.
I liked this one so very much. I liked the relationship between Hannah and Lincoln. It was a very satisfying read.
