Gentleman of Her Dreams. Jen Turano. 2012. Bethany House. 68 pages.
I enjoyed this short novella about two best friends who were clueless about their feelings for one another. Charlotte Wilson loves Henry St. James oh-so-much, but she thinks he doesn't care for her at all--at least not in that way. And he loves her oh-so-much, but he just knows deep down that she'd never feel that way about him. So he
is "helping" her find the right man to marry, and hating himself for helping her. And she's frustrated because she doesn't want to marry anyone else, and yet her friend keeps making an effort. It works as a short novel, I'm not sure this misunderstanding would have worked for several hundred pages though.
